a project from spain that was delayed cause we simply lost contact with the artists at the point of signing. the duo seemed to have strong bonds with a spanish clique of the notorious central american gang ms-13. sadly enough, the main producer is in lock-down for a crime committed in the us and therefor we never had the chance to finish this project. it will now be released (finally) as part of the limited when insanity slips in series with a handnumbered screened printed sleeve. the music is pure electronic chaos (think ultradyne). pure analog terror from a project that already ended before even getting signed.

badmotorfinger got lost amid the blockbuster success of nevermind and ten (all were released around the same time). but the fact is that, though they re all great records, badmotorfinger is much less accessible by comparison. not that it isnt melodic, but it also sounds twisted and gnarled, full of dissonant riffing, impossible time signatures, howling textural solos, and weird, droning tonalities. its surprisingly cerebral and arty music for a band courting mainstream metal audiences, but it attacks with scientific precision. part of that is due to the presence of new bassist ben shepherd, who gives the band its thickest rhythmic foundation yet and, moreover, immediately shoulders the departed hiro yamamotos share of songwriting duties. but its apparent that the whole band has greatly expanded the scope of its ambitions. and badmotorfinger fulfills them, pulling all the different threads of the bands sound together into a mature, confident, well written record. this is heavy, challenging hard rock full of intellectual sensibility and complex band interplay.

tube10 returns to the scene again with a release to blow your minds away. this time its the greek formation ekelon. their debut on planet mu with headhunter on mary anne hobbs evangeline had us in our grasp so much that we couldnt help ourselves then to hit them up and see what whould happen. tube10 005 is the result of this encounter and it shows ekelon flexing their crossover sound like no other. is it techno? is it dubstep? we dont know but we sure as hell love both tunes to bits!

beautiful disco masterpiece, the self-titled >zig zag< lp. originally released on the tiny canadian label pacha records, this lost gem has become one of the true holy grails of the cosmic disco scene and holds the top spot in many a wants list. this incredible record is every bit as good as you ve heard it is, with every track a killer. all feature great playing, awesome funky synths and b-lines and wonderful afro french vocals that make for one of the best disco lps of all time and a record that for once warrants the high prices paid for it in internet auctions. top class!
